This weekend my friend and I played NBA 2K15, we played 1 vs. 1 on the blacktop mode. I was Muggsy Bogues (5' 3") and he was Shaquille O'Neal (7' 1"). I won the first game but he won the last two out of three. Then we order a pizza and watched the KU game and I was very happy. The best part about the weekend was definitely hanging out with Ryan and beating him in NBA 2K15.

Blog Post of the Day:
The perfect curriculum would be inform us of how to do real world things like pay taxes, and teach us how to buy a house and how mortgages work. They would have us do taxes and then grade us based on how we did, because practice makes perfect. The classes would be like, real world money management, and how you interact with the government. Along with classes on math, and english that goes up and teaches us everything we would need to know how to do in real life. We would chose our job when we are real young and all of schooling leads up to that. These would be different from the classes I have now because in most of the classes I have now I don't feel like I could use any of that information unless I was on a game show, for example geometry. When in real life am I going to be given two chords that intersect on a circle and have to figure out their angle?

Tell me what you believe this cartoon is trying to say. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Try and look at this from two different perspectives. What is your perspective? What would be an adult/teacher's perspective?
I think that what this post is tying to say is that while other countries are getting ahead in things like math and science, the United States are not putter enough emphasis on education. This could also be saying that the United States is getting ahead in technology, while other countries are focusing more on education and traditional math and science

Think about the quote above. What does this mean to you? How could this apply to your life? How could this apply to your school work? I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?
This means that if you do less, you can do better quality work. You can put more focus on certain things, instead of spreading you focus out on many things. You can apply this to your school work by instead of procrastinating and doing a bunch of things in one night, dedicate one night a week to one project. I think we would definitely get more out of class if we had less work but a better quality was expected. I think it would work for me because I am very detail orientated, and kinda OCD online.

Tell me all about your weekend! I sure hope you have photos to share.
This weekend I went to the basketball game on Friday, we lost. Then I slept all day Saturday, until the KU game which I watched, then went back to bed. Sunday I woke u at 8:45 and went to the doctors appointment for my jaw and we found out I strained some muscles. That night I went to church at 6:30 and got home at 8 and went to bed.

Tell me about some interesting things you have learned about your global issue so far. What have you learned that you didn't know before? Include a couple images from the internet if possible. (Make sure to cite images that are not your own.)
Somethings I have learned about my issue is that the majority of cases take place in Africa and other third world countries. Another thing I learned is the difference between HIV and AIDS. Basically HIV is a virus that infects the body that can lead to the disorder AIDS. AIDS is a condition where your body cannot fight diseases anymore, which can lead to dying just because of a simple cold.

You haven't had a chance to tell me about your Sweetheart weekend yet - tell me about it now! Include photos if you have them. Even if you just laid around on the couch and watched Netflix, tell me all about it.
This weekend I went to go see American Sniper on Friday, with my friend Max. It was a good movie. Saturday I slept in until Noon then at one I watched KU beat K-State. It was a fun to watch because we destroyed. Then I fell asleep at like 6 o'clock and slept until 8 the next morning. I woke up took a shower then went to church. That night I watched TV and went to bed at 8.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"? EXPLAIN.
What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"? EXPLAIN.
An email is the most useless thing now that text has been invented, unless you use it to get coupons or to sign up for stuff. I don't use email unless I am making an account or sometimes reading things my dad sent me. Reasons people use E-mail: communicate; sign-up; get scammed. Email etiquette is basically to use it in a professional manner, no one sentence messages, (because texting is easier) and only send stuff that doesn't need to be read immediately.
